What exactly does Soft Unwind do? +
Soft Unwind is a short nightly ritual designed to help your mind slow down before sleep. You write out what's on your mind (no formatting, no judgment), receive an empathetic AI reflection, do a brief breathing exercise, and close out with a calming message.
Is my journal data private? +
Yes. What you write is sent to an AI to generate your reflection, then discarded — we don't store your entries after your session. We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
The app isn't responding or the AI reflection isn't loading. +
First, make sure you have an internet connection — the AI reflection requires network access. Try force-quitting the app and reopening it. If the problem persists, copy our email above and send us your device model and iOS version.
How do I cancel my subscription? +
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, find Soft Unwind, and tap Cancel Subscription. You'll retain access until the end of the billing period.
Is this a replacement for therapy or medical treatment? +

How do I restore a purchase? +
Open Soft Unwind and look for a "Restore Purchases" option in the settings or subscription screen. If you don't see it, email us and we'll help you sort it out.
