1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Soft Unwind ("the App"), operated by [Your Name / Company Name] ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Soft Unwind is a wellness application designed to help users wind down before sleep through guided journaling, AI-generated empathetic reflections, and brief breathing exercises. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.

3. Not a Medical or Mental Health Service

Soft Unwind is not a medical product, mental health treatment, or substitute for professional care. The App is a wellness tool only. It is not designed to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychological condition.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or require medical attention, please contact a qualified healthcare provider or call/text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the US).

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Soft Unwind. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. Users under 18 should have parental consent.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you enter into the App (journal entries, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the App's features (e.g., generating your AI reflection).

You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.

6. AI-Generated Content

Responses generated by our AI are automated and are not provided by licensed mental health professionals. AI reflections are intended to provide a calm, empathetic response to help you wind down and are not therapeutic advice. We make no guarantee regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.

7. Subscriptions & Billing

Soft Unwind may offer free and premium subscription tiers. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's in-app purchase system. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's payment terms.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.
Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and trademarks associated with Soft Unwind are the exclusive property of [Your Name / Company Name]. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the App at any time. Account deletion requests can be submitted at our account deletion page.

12. Governing Law
